OUR PPF PROCESS AND OPTIONS
The PPF (Paint Protection Film) process begins with a thorough wash and decontamination of the vehicle's surface to remove dirt and impurities. The paint is then polished to ensure a flawless finish before film application. Pre-cut or custom-cut GYEON PPF is carefully applied to high-impact areas using a slip solution for precision alignment. The film is smoothed out to eliminate bubbles, and edges are sealed. Finally, heat is applied to activate self-healing properties, ensuring long-lasting, invisible protection.

PPF INSTALLS
Our PPF installation service ensures your vehicle’s paintwork is protected with precision and care. Here’s the step-by-step process we follow:
STEP 1: DEEP CLEAN & INSPECTION
The vehicle will undergo a thorough decontamination wash to remove impurities and is then inspected in our studio to identify any paint imperfections.
STEP 2: PAINT CORRECTION (OPTIONAL)
Any scratches or blemishes are identified and an optional multi stage paint correction is available for the best finish
STEP 3: FILM CUTTING
Using Gyeon-approved software and a precision plotter, PPF templates are cut for the vehicle.
STEP 4: FILM APPLICATION
The film is applied using a slip solution to allow precise positioning on each panel. A Tac solution is then used to secure the film to the panel. Heat is used in the PPF process to help activate the adhesive and seal edges.
STEP 5: INSPECTION & SETTLING
Once applied, the film is inspected and allowed to settle.
STEP 6: FINAL DETAILING & COLLECTION
Once the PPF has settled, the vehicle is prepped, ready for collection. Front-end coverage typically takes 2-3days, while full-car coverage requires 7-10 days.
